SUMMERSIDE – The Nova Scotia Selects swept an exhibition doubleheader from the P.E.I. Youth Selects at Queen Elizabeth Park’s Legends Field on Monday afternoon.

The scores were 6-2 in Game 1, and 4-1 in the second contest.

Nova Scotia 6 P.E.I. 2
Keegan Murrin earned the pitching win over Joel MacEachern.
Mattaeo Flaim had a 2-for-4 batting summary while Jackson Haight drew three walks to lead Nova Scotia at the plate.
Gabe Penalver drew three walks for P.E.I., and Jack MacKenzie connected for a double in three at-bats.

Rory White picked up the pitching win, and Nate Jones was the pitcher of record for P.E.I.
Evan Toole’s three-run blast to left field proved to be the difference for Nova Scotia. Nick Gravel and Aiden MacKenzie also had 1-for-3 batting summaries.
For P.E.I., Ben MacDougall (2-3), MacEachern (1-3), Noah Duckworth (1-3) and Josh Myers (1-3) were tops at the dish.
