SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — Sam Gallant’s strong pitching led the Summerside Team One Chevys to an 11-2 victory over the Stratford A’s in a recent P.E.I. Midget A Baseball League game

Gallant allowed just one hit and struck out six in four innings of work to earn the pitching victory. Jackson MacDougall came in to pitch the fifth inning and gave up no hits while striking out three.
Offensively, MacDougall (3-3), Zachary Costain (2-2) and Thomas Rayner (2-2) led the way for the Chevys. Lawson Docherty (1-1) had Stratford’s hit.
Kevin Byrne and Zach MacNeil pitched for Stratford.
