Gallant, Wedge spark Chevys' offence

CORNWALL – George Gallant and Tyson Wedge each had two hits to lead the Summerside Chevys to an 8-3 win over the Mid-Isle Mustangs in a P.E.I. Mosquito AAA Baseball League game on Tuesday evening.

Gallant went 2-for-2, with a walk, while Wedge had a 2-for-3 summary at the plate. Rylan MacPhail (1-2, run batted in), Denver MacDonald (1-2, RBI) and Ethan Murray (1-2, RBI) were Cornwall’s top batters. Winning pitcher was Ty Cameron, and Lance Howard was Mid-Isle’s pitcher of record.
