The outfielder went 2-for-4 with a run in a 13-7 loss to the defending champs, the Galway Hitmen, and was 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, two runs and an RBI in an 8-1 win over the Bruno Merchants from Saskatchewan.
The East Hants Shooters Bar and Grill Mastodons are 3-1 after two days of play at the 12-team tournament. They play Chettys Pretty Boys from Saskatchewan today at noon Atlantic and Grande Prairie Pirates at 7:30 p.m. Both times are Atlantic.
In Thursday’s first game, the teams were tied 5-5 through three innings before the Hitmen scored two in the fourth and three in each of the fifth and sixth innings.
Colin Walsh earned the win while Alex Anthony took the loss.
Travis Nevin earned the win against the Merchants while Justin Dauvin took the loss.
