Cody Bellinger hit two home runs, Max Muncy and Alex Verdugo each homered and the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers routed the Philadelphia Phillies 16-2 on Monday.

Bellinger finished with four hits while Verdugo had three hits for the Dodgers, who ripped 19 hits and won their third game in a row.

Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw (8-2) threw 61 pitches through the first three innings and then settled down to toss six solid innings. Kershaw gave up four hits and one run while striking out seven on 101 pitches, 68 for strikes.

Scott Kingery homered and had two hits, while Bryce Harper and Rhys Hoskins contributed two hits apiece for the Phillies.

Phillies pitcher Zach Eflin (7-9) labored through six innings as he allowed nine hits and seven runs. Eflin threw 102 pitches, 69 for strikes.

Kingery led off the bottom of the third inning with a solo home run to left field, his 12th of the season, for a 1-0 Phillies lead.

Kershaw continued to struggle through the third and loaded the bases with two outs. Maikel Franco grounded out to third to end the threat.

The Dodgers responded in a big way with six runs in the fourth. Justin Turner hit an RBI double while Muncy and Enrique Hernandez added RBI singles. Joc Pederson later ripped an infield single that deflected off Eflin, and another run scored for a 5-1 advantage. Austin Barnes later stole home for a sixth run and a 6-1 lead.

The Dodgers pushed their lead to 7-1 with one out in the fifth when Bellinger lofted a towering solo homer to right.

Bellinger added a second homer in the seventh off Edubray Ramos for his 33th of the season and an 8-1 advantage. It was Bellinger's 11th career multi-home run game. Muncy then connected for a homer to go back-to-back for a 9-1 lead.

From there, the Dodgers continued to be aggressive and tacked on five more runs in the eighth for the blowout victory.

Phillies outfielder Roman Quinn came in to pitch with two outs in the eighth and got Pederson to fly out with the bases loaded. Quinn gave up two runs in the top of the ninth.
