Joonas Donskoi had a goal and an assist, Nathan MacKinnon and Gabriel Landeskog also scored as the Colorado Avalanche beat the Arizona Coyotes 6-2 in Glendale, Ariz., on Saturday night.

Philipp Grubauer stopped 23 shots, Tyson Jost, Pierre-Edouard Bellemare and Jacob MacDonald also had goals and Mikko Rantanan, Andre Burakovsky and Samuel Girard had two assists each for the Avalanche.

Clayton Keller and Ilya Lyubushkin had goals and Antti Raanta had 35 saves for Arizona, which lost to Colorado on consecutive nights.

The Avalanche played without defenseman Cale Makar and forward Matt Calvert, both of whom were sidelined with upper-body injuries. Both are considered day-to-day.

Colorado got on the board first when MacKinnon skated down the left side, avoided a check as he skated into the left circle and then beat Raanta with a shot to the top right corner at 12:16 of the first. It was his fifth of the season.

The Coyotes got the next goal when Niklas Hjalmarsson stole a clearing pass at the blue line, sent a pass to the slot and Keller's leaping redirect went over Grubauer's blocker and in at 14:13 of the second. It was Keller's sixth of the season.

MacDonald gave Colorado the lead back when he skated behind the Arizona net and put a wraparound shot off Raanta's right pad and in at 17:15 of the second. It was his first of the season and second career goal in his eighth game.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson went off for tripping 1:52 into the third and Landeskog scored six seconds later to give the Avalanche a 3-1 lead. It was his fourth of the season and 202nd of his career, tying him with Peter Forsberg for third most by a Colorado player.

Donskoi made it a three-goal advantage when he got a pass from Valeri Nichushkin in the slot and wristed a shot by Raanta at 12 minutes. It was his sixth of the season.

Jost got his first just 1:57 later, Lyubushkin answered with his first of the season and Bellemare added an empty-net goal to seal it.
