CORNWALL, P.E.I. — Lucas Buch scored with 1:54 left to earn the Robin’s Mid-Isle Matrix a 4-4 tie with the Sherwood Drug Mart Central Attack Wednesday in Prince Edward Island Midget AAA Hockey League action.
The Attack held 1-0 and 2-0 period leads at the APM Centre in Cornwall. The Attack took a 4-1 lead five minutes into the final frame before the Matrix scored three times in the final 5:45 to tie the game.
Will Mix scored three times for the Matrix. Reese Wyand and Angus Beaton each had two assists while singles went to Matthew Mills and Carson MacKay.
Chris Koughan, Bates Ling and Noah Dow each had a goal and assist for the Attack. Matthew Dunn rounded out the scoring while Keegan Callaghan, John MacKinnon and Damiyan Boyle each chipped in a helper.
Ty Arsenault (Matrix) and Aiden Rose (Attack) were the goalies. The Matrix improved to a league-leading 6-2-3 while the Attack is 4-4-2.
