CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - The Atlantic Attack offence was too hot to handle as the defending National Ringette League champs thumped the Gatineau Fusion 11-7, 15-9 and 11-6 in a weekend sweep in New Brunswick.
Stratford defenceman Ashley Hollis had a goal in the 11-7 win and an assist in the 11-6 win, and now has two goals and four points in eight games.
Martine Caissie (nine goals, 18 points) and Jenny Snowdon (eight goals, 16 points) paced the Attack’s attack in the trio of games and sit ninth and 16th, respectively, in overall scoring.
The Attack (6-2-0-0) is third in the Eastern Conference White Division and return to the ice Dec. 15-16 versus the Ice (3-6-0-1) in Ottawa.
The Attack roster also includes first-year forwards Bianca Roche (Souris) and Mariah Crowley (Charlottetown).
