HALIFAX – It hasn’t taken Tori Hogan long to make an impact on the rugby pitch, and her play has not gone unnoticed.
The Tignish native, who is in her rookie season playing the wing position for the Acadia Axewomen, was named the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) female athlete of the week on Tuesday after scoring two tries and one convert in Acadia’s 57-12 victory over the UPEI Panthers in Charlottetown on Saturday.
Hogan currently leads the AUS with 54 points – six tries and 13 conversions.
Hogan is studying in the bachelor-of-science program.
