One year ago Toronto was ready to continue celebrating the success of the Toronto Raptors, but instead had to digest a tough loss. A game after opening the NBA Finals with a convincing win, the Raptors appeared to be in good shape, taking a lead into the half, before turning in one of their worst quarters of the entire series.
The Warriors won the third quarter 34-21 and the game 109-104 to square the series. With Kevin Durant teasing a return, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Stephen Curry and DeMarcus Cousins looking in form, several Raptors slumping and the series set to shift back to Oakland, suddenly, things were looking pretty interesting.
