Whoever was on the panel to choose the new locations of cannabis stores definitely doesn’t know the demographics of Nova Scotia. The most populated area in the Annapolis Valley is between Greenwood, Kingston and Middleton, yet there’s not a cannabis store in sight. The closest is Berwick, with New Minas a close second. But, the small town of Annapolis Royal is getting an outlet, which is probably due to its tourism draw.

If they are doing this to deter the black market, it would have been wise to put a store in Kingston or Middleton.
