Just a note to affirm my total agreement with columnist Jim Guy’s position (‘National dream abandoned,’ Cape Breton Post, Dec. 14) on the state of the Cape Breton railway.

Guy’s columns are always interesting and informative.

NovaPorte could be the turn-around we need. We are, indeed, the Gateway to the Atlantic, and it is obvious to me that we should take advantage of our fortunate geographical position.
