Can I use your page to express my gratitude to the gallant soldiers who showed up at our snow-blocked doors? I did not catch their names except for a Mr. Richard, because they came, they shovelled and they disappeared within minutes — but this 80-year old was staggered by their kindness and good cheer.

With many thanks to the boys and to the Department of National Defence.
