I’ve written about this issue in the past, and who knows … may have to write about it again. There is a bus stop directly in front of the university, where, if there are cars behind that bus, and other cars whizzing by on the left, the drivers in those cars behind the bus are left in a precarious situation. I was one such driver today and there was, indeed, a car behind me. Our cars were stuck out into the intersection until such a time all the cars on the left passed. Then, and only then can we safely pull out and pass the bus. The bus stop is simply in the wrong place.

I believe that bus should actually pull off University Avenue to pick up passengers, which would make it safer for drivers behind the bus, who may or may not remember that the bus stop is there.
