STORY CONTINUES BELOW THESE SALTWIRE VIDEOS
An interesting opinion piece surfaced in the media recently from Don Mazer. He makes some good points about the fact that we are being asked to vote on an MMP system that has no provisions attached as to how the second ballot candidates will be selected and he has called on parties to divulge their plans; plans unfortunately the parties have not considered as any potential MMP styled election is at least four years away.
As well, certainly amongst the two major parties, they are definitely not going to develop or divulge any plans this close to a provincial election.
In a nut shell, we don’t really know what we’re voting for.
