Here is a way to increase your protection from the coronavirus: cook your way to safety. Instead of eating prepared breakfast cereals that have been in contact with who knows who, try cooked rolled oats. If you have a microwave, it only takes a minute. Tastes great too.

Cook all meats thoroughly, and be careful to completely re-heat left-overs. I would not buy green, leafy salad vegetables right now. Fruits like the staples, tomatoes, apples, oranges, bananas and avocados should be dipped in a bucket of water with bleach then rinsed off. Cook with garlic, and take a vitamin C pill daily.

One good thing about all this endless talk, talk talk on the radio is that climate change is off the airwaves. Thank heavens for CBC Radio 2.
