Natalie Jameson, newest member of the Dennis King PC minority government, has just been appointed as minister of the Environment? I’m not sure what an oil and gas sector recruiter does! Recruit people to work in oil and gas, I would guess?

She apparently has 11 years’ experience in recruiting. One has to wonder how those 11 years could be put to good use in the environment sector? Maybe King should have appointed her as minister of Health, where she could recruit doctors or nurse practitioners.

I suppose drilling for oil is not too different from drilling deep-water wells. Do you think the Irving Corp will be pleased with this latest appointment? It is, after all, a bit like appointing Robert Irving as Minister of Agriculture?

Don’t think she would have been my choice for minister of the Environment when considering we are facing the most critical time in human history.
