When is the penny going to drop? When are our politicians going to realize, hey, this renewable energy trip is a giant swindle. There we have three of our worthies in the July 24 paper (Investing in green energy) announcing yet more investment in wind energy.

There is now a mountain of evidence showing that wind and solar energy for grid applications are a huge waste of money. 

And yet virtue signalling pollies keep strutting out the same story, which is getting to be pretty old by now. It doesn't do what it claims it can do. The wind and sun are free, but turbines and solar panels are not.

We are being swindled. Tragically our fear of nuclear energy is costing us dearly in terms of environmental harm and energy costs.

When is the penny going to drop?
