Do we all remember when the roundabout was introduced? The government set up a trial in the parking lot of the cinema. We now have over 20 on the Island so far and there are more under construction and consideration. Some love them and some are indifferent. But have you been wondering like me what is going on at St. Peter’s Road and the Charlottetown Bypass? In February the government held a meeting to outline a displaced left turn intersection. I would encourage you to look up Displaced left turn intersections on Google. It is new and innovative. They show working models. This may have a steep learning curve. However I applaud the government for their forward thinking.
