BIBLE FACTS: Globalism today

“And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him? ... And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.” (Revelation 13:4,7)

The time has apparently come to use every avenue available to convince impressionable minds that globalism is a virtue. According to the Bible globalism is part of a chilling plan by Satan for a sinister empire of worldwide evil. His objective is to obtain total world control and enforce universal worship of himself.

The quotation given above is from the great prophecy book of the Bible, The Revelation. Anyone who reads it objectively is compelled to recognize globalism has been foretold by God. Obviously, if God’s Word could accurately foretell the fact of a coming one world order, we should also consider what it says about its character. Why would anyone want to promote a worldwide government that the Bible tells us will be ruled by the antichrist – the incarnation of Satan, also known as the Beast.

God’s plan for the world at the present time is to have the administration of human affairs by sovereign independent nations. One who opposes globalism is not a racist, as it has become popular to preach. He is a nationalist or patriot, something that up until very recent times was commended.

Beware of the deceitful use of terminology by those who have an agenda to shape public thinking for their own purposes.

The globalism we see developing around us today is based on rejection of Jesus Christ, disobedience to the Bible, and rebellion against God. According to the Bible the antichrist will be a totalitarian beast that will murder the true people of God.

The good news is that the approaching one world order will be brief. It will be replaced by another coming global administration that Bible believers look forward to and plan to participate in. Jesus Christ promised to destroy the antichrist and establish a worldwide and lasting kingdom at His Second Coming.

The bad news is that it will be a time of horrific suffering and world depopulation. Revelation tells us that God’s wrath will be poured out on a world that has rejected His Son and accepted Satan and his man, the antichrist. The promises of a utopia without God will prove to be horrible lie.

The real answer to the problems of mankind is a personal relationship to Jesus Christ and the promise it brings of a place in His eternal kingdom.
