Sylvain Joseph Maillet

1931-2018 At the Western Hospital Alberton, on Friday March 2,2018 of Sylvain Joseph Maillet of Tignish, age 86 years. Born at Tignish, on June 10,1931 he was the son of the late Leo C. and Eva M. (nee Gaudet) Maillet. Dear brother to Nelson of Tignish and Cecil (Gloria) of Summerside. He is survived by his nephews, Jonathan (Leila) Maillet of Cochrane B.C. and Mark Maillet of Calgary Alberta, Great uncle to MacKenzie and Parker Maillet. He was predeceased by his parents and by a brother Gerard. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel Alberton. Visiting hours Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Monday morning from St. Simon and St. Jude Church Tignish for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Brendon Gallant celebrant. Interment later in the church cemetery.
