RAYNER, Sterling The death occurred at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Sunday, November 10, 2019, of Sterling Rayner, of Summerside, aged 89 years. Born in West Devon, he was the son of the late Stanley and Mabel (MacAusland) Rayner. Survived by his wife Margaret Farrell-Rayner; daughter Dale (Gordon) Wood; sons Robert, George (Pat), Eric (Kim) and Kevin (Betty Anne); 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister Annie MacMillan; brothers Silbert (Carol) and Alton Rayner; sisters-in-law Betty Rayner, Eliza (Eric) MacEwen, Jean MacLean and Mary Moase; and by brothers-in-law James and Bruce Campbell . Predeceased by his sons Carl and Christopher Rayner; granddaughter Erica Rayner; brothers Ray, Clarence and Eldred Rayner; and by brothers-in-law Raeford MacLean and George Moase. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Summerside Presbyterian Church would be appreciated. www.moase.ca
