Ruth Mcmillan

The death occurred at the Stewart Memorial Home, Tyne Valley, on Friday, August 24, 2018, of Ruth McMillan, of Summerside, aged 93 years. Born in Souris, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Irene (Bryanton) Poole. Survived by her daughter Cathy (Wendall) Bernard; grandchildren Jeremy Bernard (Emily Buckler), Joe Bernard (Megan Landsborough), Patrick Bernard (Kayla Sark) and Codi-Anne Bernard; great-grandchildren Malik Bernard, Riley Bernard, Keira Bernard, Roman Bernard and Kingston Buckler; brother-in-law Harold Simpson and by sister-in-law Pat Poole. Predeceased by her husband Arthur McMillan; brothers Ernest, Harvey, Harold and Jack Poole and by sister a Lillian Simpson. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where a private family service will be held. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. No visiting hours by request.
