Reginald Joseph Knox

1945-2018 The death occurred the Community Hospital, O'Leary, with his family by his side, on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, of Reginald Joseph Knox, beloved husband to Elizabeth Ann (nee Doyle) Knox, age 73 years. Born at Palmer Road on January 13, 1945, he was the son of the late Elmer and Mary (nee McAllister) Knox. Cherished father to Ross (Camille) of Airdrie, Alberta, and Rose (Shawn) Simank of Calgary. Loving grandfather to Kaden and Keana. Dear brother to Peter (Doreen) of Charlottetown, Della (Milton) McKenna of Charlottetown, Carmen (Albert) Shea of Sea Cow Pond, Myra (late Joe) Shea of Sea Cow Pond, Pat of Maplewood Manor, Dot (Nelson) Blanchard of Charlottetown, and Ann (John) Ramsay of Poplar Grove. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, brother and sister-in-laws. He was predeceased by a brother Donald and by a sister Hazel (late Ray) Webster. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel, Alberton. Visiting hours Friday 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday 1 p.m. until time of departure. Funeral Saturday afternoon from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 4 p.m., Rev. Albin Arsenault, celebrant. Interment in the church cemetery.
