Marie Rose Anna Gaudet

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Gaudet on February 26, 2019, in Kentville, NS, at the age of 94. Born Marie Rose Anna Gallant on September 19, 1924 in Urbainville, PEI to the late Cornelius and Aurelia (Arsenault) Gallant, she was the eldest of six and spent her young life on the Island helping her mother take care of the family farm and caring for her younger siblings. She went on to meet and marry the love of her life, the late Gordon Gaudet. Widowed in 1987, she was also predeceased by her brother, Alfred Gallant, sisters, Corinne Chaisson and Dora Booth. She leaves behind two sisters, Catherine Arsenault and Eva Arsenault. She will be lovingly remembered by her four children, David (Linda) Gaudet of Eastern Passage, Ken (Bev) Gaudet of Westville, Coreen (Bill) Pellerine of Pictou and Christine (Vance) MacLeod of Kingston. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church, Richmond. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
