Ivan Gordon Day

The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Charlottetown on Saturday February 24, 2018 of Ivan Gordon Day of Summerside, aged 84 years. Born in Norboro on April 23, 1933 son of the late Gordon and Hilda (Adams) Day. Survived by wife Audrey (MacGregor) Day and family Willard Day (Jeanne), Schurman’s Point, P.E.I.; Ernestine Day, White Rock, British Columbia; Ron Day, Calgary, Alberta; Francie Docherty (David) St. Ann’s, P.E.I. and Cory MacDougall (Jeanne) Long Creek, P.E.I. Grandfather of Erin Lucca (Dom), Bailey Griffin (Shadi), Jessamyn Griffin, Cohen MacDougall. Brother Eric Day (Mary). Step-sisters Linda MacMillan (Wayne deceased) and Anna Turner (Myron). Step-sisters-in-law Louise, Mary and Linda Weeks. Predeceased by his Step-mother Gertie Weeks Day, Step-brothers Gordon, Harry and Ray Weeks. Also predeceased by his first wife Sylvia (Rayner) Day. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Wednesday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment later in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley.
