Helen Elizabeth Gillcash

The death occurred at the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O’Leary on Sunday, March 24, 2019 of Helen Elizabeth (MacAusland) Gillcash, of O’Leary, aged 92. Helen was born in Howlan on December 2, 1926, daughter of the late Hatfield & Margaret (Lewis) MacAusland. Cherished mother to Dora (Bing) Easter, Locke Road; Keith (Kathy) Pridham, Miscouche and Carol (Eric) Gavin, O’Leary. Loving grandmother to 10 grandchildren,18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Helen was predeceased by her parents, 1st husband Colwill Pridham (1959), 2nd husband Elton Gillcash (2000) and son George. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Interment in the spring in the West Point Presbyterian Church Cemetery. In memory of Helen, memorials to O’Leary United Church Building Fund or Gavin Brown Medical Expense Fund would be appreciated.
