The death occurred peacefully with her family by her side at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, December 12th, 2018, of Eva Mary (nee Gallant) Kilbride of Summerside and formerly of New Annan, aged 84 years. Eva was born in Roxbury, P.E.I. to the late John and Lena Gallant. Beloved wife of the late George Kilbride and loving mother of Deborah Gallant (Rick) of Edmonton, AB., Eldon (Peggy) of Summerside, Anne-Marie Arsenault (Urban) of Kinkora, Gary (Leah) of Argyle Shore, Roy (Sheila) of Lot 16, and Lynn Nadeau (Clifford) of Enderby, B.C. Also, lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Brandi, Cory, Derek, Amy, Chris and Colin, her great-grandchildren Trinity, Vienna, Prophacy, Iyla and Maverick and several nieces and nephews. Survived by her brothers and sisters Ken Gallant, Ontario, Edward (Gillian) Gallant Ontario, Donald (Denise Bevan) Gallant, Summerside, Florence (Clarence) Gailliott, Cornerbrook, NL., Francis (Donna) Gallant, Woodbrook and Phyllis (Ross) Wells, Comfort Cove, NL. Predeceased by her brothers Leonard Gallant, Paul Gallant and sisters Sheila Gallant, Rita MacIssac and Patsy Arsenault. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Interment will take place in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Foxley River, at a later date. Memorial donations in Eva’s memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
