Emile Poirier — TRENTON

PIORIER, Emile January 11, 1947 - July 20, 2019 On July 20, we lost our brightest and loving spirit. Emile passed away, with Jane his loving wife of 49 years at his side. Emile fought for 20 years through chronic pain and 2 bouts of cancer. He did it with courage and maintained his sense of humor throughout. Emile was born on Prince Edward Island and was the oldest of 6 sons of the late Elmer and Theresa Poirier. He was the cherished brother of Wayne (Barb); Gordie (Bev); Carl (Sharon); Glenn (Christine) and Earl (Marlene). He was loved by many nieces and nephews as well as extended family and friends. Emile's family wishes to thank his nurses from Para Med, especially Greg and Linda Marie, and the staff at Trenton Memorial Hospital for the wonderful care provided during Emile's final days. A celebration of Emile's life will take place on Saturday, August 24th, 2019 at 1 pm at the Weaver Life Centre, 29 Bay Street, Trenton and also on September 17th from 7-9 pm at the Miscouche Seniors Club (back of firehall), Miscouche, P.E.I.
