GALLANT, Elaine The death occurred, at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, October 11, 2019, of Elaine Gallant, of Summerside, aged 97 years. Elaine served in the RCAF, and was a Veteran of the Second World War. Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Esther (Wedge) Burns. Survived by her children Michael “Mike” (Yvonne Gallant), Danny and Kathy (Don) MacKenzie; grandson Kyle (Alicia) MacKenzie; great-granddaughters Blake and Drew; and by a brother Ron (Judy) Burns. Predeceased by her husband Joseph Gallant; brothers Stanley and Walter (Theresa); and by sisters Marina (Larry) Germain, Brenda (Everett) Keough, Audrey Worsnop, Bonnie (Joe) Rousseau and Joann (Leo) Keough. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley. Visiting hours Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Members of St. Paul’s CWL will hold a Prayer Service, at the funeral home, on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. www.moase.ca
