Cathy Lee Micallef

Age 64, at Prince County Hospital, Summerside PEI. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cathy Lee Micallef due to emphysema. Cathy passed away peacefully with her loving husband and best friend William (Bill) Micallef by her side, on June 10th, 2019. Cathy was born on September 12, 1954 in Stellarton, NS. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Anna (nee Moore) Sweet, Head of St. Margaret’s Bay, NS. She is survived by her dear children, Michael, (Tammy nee Merrilees) Micallef, Puslinch, ON; Patricia (Timothy) Wear, Northam, PEI and Maureen Micallef, Kingston, NS. She is also survived by her sister, Corinne Caterino, Calgary AB. She was the very proud Gramma to Nicole and Matthew Micallef, Michaela and Alyssa Wear and Hayden Micallef and Hailey Lunn, who will miss her dearly. She was predeceased and will be laid to rest, at a later date, by her son Douglas William Micallef at the Belleville Cemetery in Belleville, ON. The family will receive friends and hold a Memorial Service with refreshments from 1p.m. until 3 p.m. at the Foxley River Community Center in Foxley River, PEI on Saturday, June 15th, 2019.
