Basil Mcinnis

Surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, June 8, 2019, of Basil McInnis of Summerside, aged 85 years. Born in Mount Tryon, he was the son of the late Alec and Anne (MacLeod) McInnis. Survived by his children Debbie Foley, Patsy Arsenault, Pamela Walsh, Karen McInnis and Layton (Catherine) McInnis; grandchildren Trevor Arsenault (Lucinda), TJ Foley (Sara), Matthew Jason Foley, Amanda Arsenault, Billy-Joe Bigelow, Glendon Walsh (Nadine), Samantha McInnis, Justin McInnis, Skyler Hardwick, Harmony Arsenault and Brian Agnew-McInnis; great-grandchildren Xander, Caleb, Landon, Joey, Chloe, Taeton, Bailey, Ezra and Baby Walsh; and loving grampy to many foster children. Predeceased by his wife Amy (Noonan) McInnis; daughter Lena McInnis and by his son-in-law Brian Arsenault. In keeping with Basil’s wishes, he has been donated to Medical Science. No visiting hours or funeral service by request. Memorial donations to the PEI Lung Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Dalhousie Medical Research Foundation would be appreciated.
