ELLIS, Alvin George "Bud" It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Alvin Ellis on Thursday, November 7th, 2019, in his 84th year at the Hastings Manor Long Term Care Facility. Predeceased by parents William and Dora Ellis (nee Culleton). Beloved husband to Dorothy Ellis. Loving father to Janet Van Velzen (Peter). Brother to Deborah Gorrill (Charles), and predeceased by Lorne Ellis (Pam), and Sherla Gorrill (Keith). Grandfather to Matthew, and Nicholas (Bronwyn). In keeping with Alvin’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588). A Celebration of Alvin's Life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd, 2019 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Moira Hall, 29 Carsen Road, Moira.
