Environment Canada has ended its freezing rain warning for all of Prince Edward Island.
Schools were cancelled for the day in anticipation of slippery roads.
Maritime Electric reported just after 8 a.m. that there were three customers without power. Two are on the north shore of Queens County. The other on the eastern boarder of Queens county between Culloden and Mount Vernon. Power was quickly restored.
Temperatures are expected to slowly rise to about 5 C as the day goes on.
There may be ice accumulating in the northern and eastern-most areas of the province early this morning.
Wednesday might see clouding over with a good chance of showers again in the afternoon.
The Confederation Bridge is currently restricting high-sided vehicles due to high winds.
The Charlottetown Airport shows that both flights by Sunwing to and from Puerto Plata are on a delay today. Check the airport web site for updates.
On P.E.I. today, early morning temperatures ranged from a high of 1.8 C at Summerside, to a low of 0 C at North Cape.
