SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A 51-year-old Summerside man was arrested and charged with impaired driving Feb. 2.
Just after 4 p.m. on Saturday, Summerside police received a report of a possible impaired driver leaving the Granville Street Liquor Store.
A description of the driver and vehicle was provided to police, who located the vehicle within minutes on High Street.
While speaking with the driver, officers noted signs of impairment.
The man was arrested and later provided breath samples that were in excess of three times the legal limit.
The man will be appearing in court at a later date to answer to impaired driving related charges.
