Where the leaders are in the N.B. election

FREDERICTON — Where the leaders are on Sunday, Sept. 23, as the New Brunswick election campaign continues:

Liberals: Premier Brian Gallant will start the day in Moncton where he will be available for media questions at a local barbeque for volunteers and supporters, joined by Nova Scotia Premier Stephen McNeil, Prince Edward Island Premier Wade MacLauchlan, and Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Dwight Ball, at the Moncton Press Club, 160 Assomption Blvd. at 12 p.m.

Later in the day he will travel to Saint-Louis-de-Kent, Pokemouche, Tracadie and Néguac.

Progressive Conservatives: Blaine Higgs will begin his day with a 9 a.m. rally in Saint George at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 40, 4 New St before moving on to a noon-hour rally in Fredericton and the Fredericton Inn, 1315 Regent St.

A rally will be held at 2 p.m in Chipman at the Chipman Fish & Game Club, 66 Hillcrest Ave. before the tour bus moves on to 4 p.m. rally in Sussex at 208 Main St. The day concludes with a 6 p.m. rally in Quispamsis at 132 Millennium Dr.

NDP: Jennifer McKenzie will attend the St Luke's Anglican Church Breakfast at 9 a.m at 369 Main Street, Saint John. She will go to Queen's Square farmers market at 11 a.m. before going to South End, Saint John Harbour to canvass at 1 p.m. A volunteers appreciation night will be held at the campaign office at 72 Charlotte Street at 6 p.m.

Green Party: Not available.

People's Alliance: Kris Austin will be campaigning in his Fredericton-Grand Lake riding.
