UPDATE: Charlottetown police locate fourth stolen vehicle this week

A 65-year-old woman, who police say was drunk, lost control of her vehicle and struck three parked vehicles in Charlottetown Thursday morning.

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — UPDATE: The vehicle has been located.


Charlottetown police are investigating the theft of a vehicle that was reported Dec. 5.

The theft occurred sometime Wednesday or Thursday.

The vehicle is a white 2012 Dodge Journey, bearing P.E.I. plate 915UB. 

The SUV was stolen from a residential driveway on Irwin Drive.

Police are reminding the public to not leave their keys inside vehicles.  

This vehicle is the fourth stolen vehicle reported to Charlottetown police in the last week.

Theft of vehicles and theft from vehicles are largely preventable by following a few simple tips:

  • Do not leave valuables inside your vehicle
  • Do not leave your keys inside the vehicle
  • Keep your vehicle doors locked
