SUMMERSIDE – Island lobster may dominate the plate at the Summerside Lobster Carnival suppers, but seated next to it will be potato salad and coleslaw from Water Street Bakery and Deli.
The bakery and deli is well-known for its potato salad and coleslaw, necessities for the perfect Island lobster supper.
Water Street Bakery and Deli is sponsoring the potato salad and coleslaw for the two lobster suppers scheduled on Friday, July 13t and Saturday, July 14.
The dinner roll will also come from the ovens of the bakery.
“I grew up with the carnival being a highlight of the summer season and later loved working at the racetrack, so this is definitely an event the bakery is proud to sponsor,” said bakery owner Bill Martin.
Tickets for the suppers can be purchased online at the lobster carnival website, at the Lefurgey Cultural Centre, or during the times of the suppers.
