Two Charlottetown residents face charges after police respond to incident on Bayfield Street

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Two Charlottetown residents face charges after police responded to a call of suspicious people in a residence on Bayfield Street in the afternoon of Sunday, June 28.

Upon arrival, Charlottetown police located two individuals who were inside the residence without permission from the owner.  

A 26-year-old Charlottetown man and a 20-year-old Charlottetown woman were arrested and taken into custody.

The pair has been charged with unlawfully being in a dwelling house, failure to comply with an undertaking and breach of probation.  

The two accused were on court orders to have no contact with each other.

They remain in custody and will appear in provincial court June 29.
