The fifth animal to be profiled in the 2018 edition of the 12 Strays of Christmas is Mary Jane.
She is an affectionate three-year-old brown-and-white tabby cat.
She loves to purr and cuddle and would be most happy in any home where she can sleep on a lap.
Adoption Tip #5: When choosing that special Christmas gift for your pet, it is best to avoid toys that consist of string or that contain small, potentially removable objects such as bells. Pets can easily ingest these objects and surgery may be required for their removal.
The 12 Strays of Christmas is a joint project between The Guardian and the P.E.I. Humane Society.
