BRACKLEY BEACH, P.E.I. — There will be a temporary full road closure at Brackley Gate in the Brackley Beach area of Prince Edward Island National Park on Wednesday, Aug. 12.

The closure will last for about 45 minutes between 12-1 p.m. In case of inclement weather, the closure will take place on Thursday, Aug. 13.

This closure is necessary to allow for the installation of overhead sign structures at the entrance kiosks, which is part of the ongoing work to improve infrastructure and enhance visitor experience within P.E.I. National Park. The travelling public should expect delays at this location.

Visitors to P.E.I. National Park are advised to exercise caution, respect all on-site signage and closures, and to follow instructions from on-site Parks Canada’s staff or contractors.

Parks Canada is leading this infrastructure work in P.E.I. National Park to ensure safe, high-quality experiences for visitors by improving heritage, visitor, waterway and highway assets located within national historic sites, national parks and national marine conservation areas.

For more information, contact P.E.I. National Park at 902-672-6350, or by email at [email protected].
