CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A 19-year-old Stratford man has been charged with drunk driving.
While on routine patrol at 2:20 am on Sunday, May 31, Charlottetown police noticed a vehicle travelling west on Euston Street without any licence plate.
The vehicle was pulled over and officers determined the driver was showing signs of impairment by alcohol.
The driver was arrested and returned to the police station to provide breath samples.
He was subsequently charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and will appear in provincial court at a later date.
