The Cody Banks Arena in Charlottetown is getting a new Zamboni.

City council voted unanimously recently to accept a bid from Saunders Equipment Ltd. for $103,350 (plus tax).

The price falls under the 2020-21 parks and recreation capital budget.

The department staff reviewed two bids, deeming the bid from Saunders to be the better of the two. It was also the low bid.

Monarch Enterprises Ltd. submitted a bid of $109,100.
