MURRAY RIVER, P.E.I. — Police in Murray River want to track down the culprits who dragged a portable toilet down the town’s Main Street with a vehicle.

Kings District RCMP said the act of vandalism happened Sept. 21 at around 10 p.m.

A vehicle was observed travelling down Main Street dragging the portable toilet behind it.

“While those involved may have found this to be entertaining, it does show a lack of respect for the safety of others in the community and could have caused significant damage or harm,” the RCMP said in a news release.

Anyone with information regarding the incident are asked to contact the Montague RCMP detachment at 902-838-9300, or anonymously through P.E.I. Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), at www.peicrimestoppers.com.
