Landholders in P.E.I are reminded they are required to report their aggregate land holding to the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission (IRAC) if their holding exceeds a certain acreage.

Individuals who hold more than 750 acres and corporations that hold more than 2,250 acres are required to file an aggregate land holding declaration by Tuesday, Dec. 31.

Under the Lands Protection Act, IRAC has the responsibility to monitor the holdings of large land owners to ensure compliance with the Act.
