CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A P.E.I. man who stole baby wipes and other items was recently given a suspended sentence.

John William Arsenault, 37, appeared before Judge John Douglas in provincial court in Charlottetown where he pleaded guilty to two counts of theft.

The court heard Arsenault stole a box of baby wipes during the first theft and other items during the second.

With the suspended sentence, Arsenault will be on probation for one year and must pay $87.29 in restitution.
