HALIFAX — Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price has sent a video message to two young boys who lost their parents in the mass shootings the weekend of April 18 and 19.

Greg and Jamie Blair were among 22 people killed in the rampage. The Portapique couple are survived by four sons: Tyler, 27, Craig, 24, Alex, 11, and Jack, 10.

Tyler, who is now looking after his two youngest brothers, posted the video on his Facebook page with a thank-you note to the Habs' star.

“Hey Alex, hey Jack, Carey Price here,” the goalie says in the video.

“I just want to let you know that you're not alone. I'm thinking about you and you have a lot of people around you that care very deeply for you. It's OK to talk to them about your feelings and what you're going through. You can and you will get through this because of the character that was given to you by your parents.

“I'm hoping the very best for you guys in the future. Good luck.”
