SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — April 17 marks National Canadian Film Day and we are celebrating at the library. Join us at 4 p.m. for a free screening of the Canadian film “Kayak to Klemtu.” In this movie a 14-year-old girl readies for a kayak trip along the shores of the Great Bear rainforest with her family to protest oil tanker traffic. The movie is rated PG and popcorn will be provided.
Newcomers and longtime residents alike are invited to join us Saturday, April 20 at 3 p.m. for a Hindi, Punjabi, and English Conversation Circle. Practice your language skills or get help navigating P.E.I. in your own language with our helpful volunteer.
School-aged children are invited to the library for a new monthly drop-in Kids Code Club on Saturday, April 20 at 2 p.m. Join us for a new coding or technology project each month. All skill levels are welcome.
