July library programs at Inspire Learning Centre, Summerside Rotary Library

Parks Canada staff will be at the library on Tuesday, July 9, at 6 p.m. for an eye opening presentation on species at risk. All ages are welcome to attend this informative event. 
The TD Summer Reading Club is in full swing and children ages 0 - 12 are invited to join. Upcoming programs will focus on seasons, germs, weird animals and plants. Programs for children ages 5 – 8 are on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m., ages 9 - 12 on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m., preschoolers on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m., and a program for all ages will take place on Saturdays at 10:30 a.m.
Teens ages 13 to 19 are invited to the library every Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. for the Teen Summer Reading Club. Teen programs will include ice cream making, Mbots, macramé, cuisine construction, life sized Hungry Hungry Hippos, sharpie tie dye, and more. 
Brilliant Labs will be once again offering their free drop-in Summer Tech Camps at the library from July 8 to August 19. Programs will include robotics, electronics, animation, 3D design, coding, and more. All skill levels are welcome. Drop-in programs for children ages 6 to 12 will take place on Mondays from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. and again on Fridays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Drop-in programs for teens ages 13 to 18 will take place on Mondays from 4 – 6 p.m.
The Friends of the Rotary Library will be holding their annual outdoor book sale on Thursday, July 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All proceeds are used to support library activities.
