Traffic flow on the Hillsborough Bridge is being reduced to a single lane each way as work to replace the expansion joints on the bridge is set to start this Friday.
Effective Friday at 6:30 a.m., traffic flow will be reduced to a single lane inbound and single lane outbound to Charlottetown.
The lane reductions will be in place 24 hours per day until the work is completed over the next six weeks.
The majority of this work will be focused within the area of the bridge deck.
Left turn access onto Bunbury Road from the TransCanada Highway will not be restricted at this time.
Drivers are reminded that this area is a construction zone and traffic controls will be in place as work continues on the additional phases of the Stratford sewer line.
